Carpinus Family Winery has a heritage back to the 17th century and is currently run by brother and sister winemakers. It is their goal to be a Tokaj winery that can run sustainably with top quality, no-compromise work and family cooperation. Carpinus offers sparkling, dry, late harvest and Aszú wines with single vineyard selections from their best vineyards (especially Deák and Lapis), all managed organically with low yields and minimal intervention. The goal is exciting wines, from the most important Tokaji grape varieties, mainly Furmint and Hárslevelű, that burst with minerality from the volcanic soils and express fruity subtlety from the loess soils.
