Georgian Wine Association

The growing strength and diversity of the Georgian wine industry brought the producers together in 2010 to establish the Georgian Wine Association (GWA) to support, develop, and promote Georgian wine. Representing the industry nationally and internationally, GWA raises awareness of Georgian wine, champions traditional winemaking, and encourages the use of indigenous grape varieties. The association also supports research, education, and the growth of wine tourism in Georgia. As a non-profit organization, GWA acts on behalf of its members across various initiatives. With 30 member wineries, it welcomes others who share its mission to preserve and advance Georgia’s rich wine heritage.
