IAQUIN is a family winery in Vipolže in Slovenia’s Brda region, managed by two brothers, Uros and Ales Jakončič. The winery embodies a deep agricultural tradition and focuses on respecting the vineyards to produce niche, high-quality wines. With six grape varieties—Chardonnay, Sauvignon Vert, Malvazija, Rebula, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon—they showcase each grape’s unique traits. Careful maturation solely in oak barriques, means the wines exude elegance, balance, and complexity. IAQUIN’s philosophy is dedication to telling the story of the stunning cross-border territory of Brda-Collio.
