Imako Vino is a story of passion and dedication, spanning three generations. This family winery, located in the heart of North Macedonia, is committed to showcasing the beauty and purity of the land to create wines that capture the essence of the place. Led by the brilliant Atanas Runchev, our head winemaker of 25 years, we are driven by an insatiable enthusiasm for exploring the endless possibilities of our vineyards resulting in a unique fusion of old-world character and new-world ease creating “easy to love” wines. Joining Atanas is a brother and sister duo, Nikola Ljubotenski and Dusica Ljubotenska-Lazarova who carry forward their father’s vision and the family’s winemaking story.
