Rizman Winery is located in the Komarna region in Croatia on steep, karst slopes overlooking the Adriatic. It’s based on the century-old winemaking tradition of the Štimac family which began in 1918 when great-grandfather Mijo Popich, known as Rizman, started producing wine. Today’s winery was established in 2005 and focuses on native Croatian varieties, particularly Plavac Mali, Pošip, and Tribidrag, along with Syrah. We take an organic approach with minimal intervention in the cellar, committed to preserving the quality of soil and producing wines with a strong identity of terroir and variety.
