Logodaj Winery, Struma Valley, Bulgaria
Located in the very heart of Struma valley between Melnik and the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica. The winery was built in 1994 to focus on local grapes, and it’s become the ultimate specialist for Melnik 55 and also sparkling wines.
Bratanov Family Winery, South Sakar Mountain, Bulgaria
A father and his sons restored the family wine tradition after a break of 50 years. The winery’s own 44ha vineyards are located on the sunny hills of the South Sakar mountain. Head winemaker Maria Stoeva believes in 100% wild fermentation to express the best of this terroir.

Crama DeMatei, Dealu Mare, Romania
Located towards the eastern end of Dealu Mare, Crama DeMatei is built around the special terroir of three 40-year-old vineyards – Tegăneanu, Dumbala and Zorilor. These 80ha on clay, gravel and limestone soils shape the complex and intense personality of the wines.
Zavec Brothers, Haloze, Slovenia
A family with long traditions, managing old vineyards in 4 locations – Vareja, Dravinjski vrh, Gorca and Podlehnik. Nowadays, third generation brothers Aleksander and Patrik Zavec, make low-intervention, terroir-driven wines.
