The Štajerska Winegrowing Association brings together 25 wineries from the Štajerska Slovenija wine-growing region. Located between the Alps and the Pannonian Plain, this typical cool-climate region represents the country’s largest winegrowing area.
It is renowned for its fresh, elegant, and aromatic varietal wines, as well as for its long-standing tradition of sparkling wine production.
The association’s members produce a diverse range of international and local grape varieties, each reflecting the distinct character of the subregions Maribor, Haloze, Ljutomer–Ormož (Jeruzalem), and Radgona.
