Aya Estate Vineyards/Seewines Spirit

Aya Estate Vineyards is a young winery located in the Struma Valley region near Melnik in southwestern Bulgaria – an area of unspoiled nature, rich in history. The climate is continental with Mediterranean influences as the valley opens towards the Aegean Sea, moderated by cool breezes from the surrounding mountains and iconic sand pyramids. The winery manages 45 ha, which are certified organic, and uses biodynamic principles. They grow both international and indigenous grape varieties, the most important being Shiroka Melnik and Early Melnik. Its daughter company, Seewines Spirit, is a winery and distillery for high-class Bulgarian wines and spirits. It focuses on craft production of orange wine and wines from indigenous local grape varieties.
