GK Winery

GK Winery is a family-owned Georgian winery located near Sighnaghi in the heart of the Kakheti wine region. Founded by Eka Rukhadze, a fourth-generation descendant of the Mchedlishvili family, the winery continues a winemaking legacy that dates back to the 20th century, when the Mchedlishvili brothers — Levan, Ivan, and David — began producing and exporting Georgian wine. Today, GK Winery honours this heritage by crafting exceptional wines from indigenous Kakhetian grape varieties, combining Georgia’s ancient winemaking traditions with modern techniques, producing wines using traditional qvevri fermentation alongside contemporary innovations, resulting in wines with quality and distinctive character.
