Lazar Winery from North Macedonia was established in 2001 as a small family-owned winery by Lazar Ristov, a fourth-generation grape producer. The winery is located in the centre of the country in the best wine region of Tikveš in the central Vardar River valley. The winery is state-of-the-art, producing 250,000 bottles each year across more than 20 labels of sparkling and still wines featuring white grapes such as Temjanika, Grashevina, Belan (Grenache Blanc), Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Grigio while red grapes are Vranec, Kratosija (local), Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The winery has a hotel and restaurant, open all year around.
