Maltby&Greek is the UK’s leading importer and distributor of premium Greek wines, specialising in indigenous varieties and low-intervention producers. Our portfolio showcases the diversity and richness of Greece’s wine regions—from the volcanic soils of Santorini to the high-altitude vineyards of Macedonia. We work directly with passionate winemakers who prioritise organic and sustainable practices, many cultivating ungrafted vines.

Domaine Karanika

Winemaking philosophy here is one of minimal intervention in viticulture and vinification. They follow Maria Thun’s biodynamic calendar therefore the wines ‘breathe terroir’, are crystal clear, intensely aromatic, and have great length.

Magoutes Vineyards
A 12 ha estate focused on reviving abandoned old vineyards and planting new ones from local cuttings to preserve the regional varietal heritage of the ‘Magoutes’ area, with its rocky limestone soil, high altitude, and southern exposure.

Anatolikos Vineyards

Since 2005, brothers Sakis and Marios have run this estate in Thrace, in northeastern Greece, following low-intervention principles. Their organic, vegan-certified wines are made from indigenous varieties near the sea in historic Avdira.

Douloufakis
This family’s winemaking tradition began in 1930 with Dimitris Douloufakis in Dafnes, Crete. Today, his grandson Nikos, trained in Italy, produces high-quality wines from 10 hectares of vineyards on hilly slopes at 350 metres altitude.

Manousakis Winery
A family estate close to Chania that embraces organic farming and sustainability, now led by Alexandra, daughter of Ted Manousakis, the founder. There are 13 ha of vines at altitudes from 350 to 650 m, all hand-tended for exceptional wine quality.

Kefalonia Robola Wine Co-operative
Founded in 1982 by local growers, this co-operative now has 300 members and processes 85% of the island’s Robola grapes. Kefalonia’s sunshine, altitude, and marine influence create ideal conditions for producing these acclaimed white wines.

Dionysis Kefallinos
The winery released its first vintage in 2018, crafting low-intervention wines from Zakynthos’s indigenous grapes. Dionysis is self-taught and produces small cuvées of 1,000–3,000 bottles from over 60 old, ungrafted bush-vine parcels across the island.

Garalis Winery
Founded in 2007, the winery is based in the main viticultural zone of Limnos, near Agios Dimitrios in the ‘Kourouni’ area. They organically cultivate 45-year-old Muscat of Alexandria and Limnio vines, creating low-intervention white, orange, and red wines.

OuSyra Winery
Founded by Edward and Eileen in Chroussa, Syros, the story began with two wines: a white from Serifiotiko and a rosé from Fokiano, using native Naxos grapes. Their wines are known for their aromatic character, freshness, and structure.

Rouvalis Winery
Founded in 1990 by Angelos Rouvalis, the estate is now led by his daughter Theodora and her husband Antonio, both trained oenologists. Their high-altitude, terraced vineyards benefit from cool air currents, ideal for growing organic, high-quality fruit.

Bizios Estate
10ha of privately-owned vineyards lie at 850m altitude in Asprokampos, the highest point of PDO Nemea. Certified organic for nearly 30 years, these dry-farmed vines produce low yields, resulting in wines of exceptional concentration and quality.

Alpha Estate
Founded in 1997 by Makis Mavridis and Angelos Iatridis, this winery produces world-class wines from its own estate. Vines are located at 620–710m where the cool climate, moderated by nearby lakes, and poor, well-drained soils yield concentrated small berries.
