The Mátra wine region is one of the most dynamic wine regions in Hungary. It lies northeast of Budapest where its higher altitude, volcanic soils and cooler microclimate can give exceptional wines. At the CEE Wine Fair, the Mátra wine region will be represented by five outstanding wineries: Bárdos Winery, Dominium Winery, Gobri Winery, Nyilas Estate and 5 Dudás Winery. 5 Dudás Winery
5 Dudás is a young, family-owned winery led by women, cultivating 50 hectares and producing fruit-forward, approachable wines. Combining tradition with modern techniques, it reflects the region’s charm and the family’s passion through skilled, efficient winemaking.

Bárdos Winery
The Bárdos Winery, founded in 1999 in the Mátra wine region, produces high-quality aromatic white and rosé wines using modern technology and traditions. Our wines are made with controlled cool fermentation, a significant part of which is reductive. We grow grapes on 10 hectares and source locally.

Nyilas Estate
Founded in 1995 by a father and daughter, our three-generation family winery blends modern technology with viticultural expertise. We farm over 380 hectares on Mátra’s volcanic slopes, growing local and international varieties selected to best reflect our philosophy and the unique terroir.

Gobri Wine Cellar
Gábor Ludányi, owner of the Gobri Wine Cellar, has been involved in winemaking since 2008. He describes his role more as a supervisor than a creator, believing that wine largely shapes itself — he simply guides it in the right direction. His approach blends traditional craftsmanship with modern reductive techniques.
