Monteko Winery is in the district of Kratovo in the Eastern (Pčinja-Osogovo) wine region. It was originally founded in 1956 but today has been reinvented as a premium winery with a capacity of 100 tonnes. High altitude vineyards on volcanic soils with long sunny days give wines with vibrant acidity in a distinctive regional style with winemaking under the guidance of one of North Macedonia’s top consultants.
