When we found Lozovik (a village whose name comes from the word for grapevine), just outside Jagodina, in a hilly landscape from where Šumadija looks over the valley of the Morava River, it became clear where we should put down our roots. Temet cultivates 33.8 ha of vineyards on beautiful slopes providing ideal exposure to the sun. These are divided into 19 parcels across two locations, 250-330m above the sea level so we can match grapes to exactly the right spot. Our organic management encourages the vines to root deep into the soil to compete for water and minerals. We believe in low yields and natural methods for growing our grapes and making our wines.
