Vintruvian Estates is one of the most important players in the premium wine market in Romania. The holding company owns four wineries in several well-known Romanian regions: Caii de la Letea and Histria (a wild yeast winery) in Dobrogea near the Danube Delta; DeMatei in Dealu Mare; and Olterra in Drăgășani. In a short period of just eight years, the company has developed its premium position through organic growth and through carefully selected acquisitions, a strategy that will continue in the future. The group aims to preserve traditional methods while also using new winemaking technologies guided by our oenologists to emphasize the specific character and identity of each area.
