Vislander

Established in 397 BC, the ancient Greek colony of Issa on the eastern Adriatic coast was renowned for producing the finest wine, as mentioned by Greek chronicler Agarthid. Centuries later in 17th century, our ancestors settled on the Croatian island of Vis, delving into vine cultivation. Today, Vislander has emerged as the largest family winery on Vis. It stands apart as the sole producer of single vineyard Plavac (25 ha) and offers various styles of Vugava (12 ha) from a state-of-the-art winery that now carries the rebranded name Vislander. Our wines are a timeless reminder that wine is a celebration of life itself.
