Vylyan Vineyards and Winery is located in Villány, Hungary’s most renowned red-wine region. Founded in 1992 by Pál Debreczeni, the estate now farms 77 hectares. Vineyards lie on south- and south-east-facing slopes at 200–250 m altitude, with loess and clay soils over limestone bedrock, planted at 7,000 vines/ha. We apply an integrated plant protection system throughout. Our vineyard portfolio includes indigenous and international varieties such as Kadarka, Portugieser, Kékfrankos Csókaszőlő, Zweigelt, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay. Wine and contemporary art are integral to our identity, reflected in long-standing artistic collaborations and cultural initiatives.
