Carpinus Family Winery

Carpinus Family Winery has a heritage back to the 17th century and is currently run by broth- er and sister winemakers as a sustainable Tokaj winery with top quality, no-compromise work and family co-operation. Carpinus offers sparkling, dry, late harvest and Aszú wines with single vineyard selections from their best vineyards (especially Deák and Lapis), all managed organically with low yields and minimal intervention. The goal is exciting wines, mainly Furmint and Hárslevelű (Tokaji’s most important varieties), that burst with minerality from volcanic soils and express fruity subtlety from plots of loess soils.
